Omsa Alimentacion S.A. is a public company primarily engaged in the manufacture and distribution of fresh and processed meat products. The company has a registered office located in Valencia, Spain. Omsa Alimentacion is one of the largest meat producer and distributor companies in Spain. It produces and distributes a wide variety of fresh and processed meats, such as ham and sausages, as well as pre-prepared lunch packs. In addition, the company also breeds livestock and produces animal fodder. The company markets its products under the following trademarks: Oscar Mayer, Primayor, Golden Pork, and Campollano. In the middle of 2000, Omsa Alimentacion S.A. was acquired by Campofrio Alimentacion S.A., an international food and nutrition company primarily engaged in the production and sale of cured ham, garlic sausage, frankfurters, salami sausage, and reduced-salt/reduced-fat ham as well as meat pastes and pre-cooked meals. Campofrio Alimentacion S.A., also became the company's wholly owned subsidiary, and was fully integrated in July 2002.
